During my haul, I picked up a Sleek Face Form palette whilst in Superdrug after trying to find the infamous blusher Rose Gold that is a rival of NARS Orgasm blusher but in my eyes is ten times better! I couldn't find the blusher and so thought the blusher inside this palette was pretty similar to Rose Gold...
The palette includes a contour, highlighter and a blusher in a nice little package. The pan of each product is a decent size meaning you can easily use full sized make up brushes to pick up the product. The packaging is black, sophisticated and great for travelling as it has a snap shut close on it. It also has a big mirror on it again for those who may like to travel!
The contour is a matte colour that isn't orangey and has no shimmer whatsoever in the pan. I prefer this to glittery bronzer/contour as I think it is far more natural and you are less likely to look like a glitter ball! Pigmentation is fairly good on this and it's not too pigmented where you have to be really careful on how much you pick up on a brush! This colour contours the face where your features may not be as pronounced. I like to use this from the corner of my mouth to my ear.
The highlighter is a light champagne colour that has a slight glow and shimmer to it. It is once again not glittery and so it is really subtle and natural to wear. Pigmentation is brilliant once again but it isn't too over the top. It is a really gorgeous highlighter! I wear this on the top of my cheek bones to emphasise my features! It could also be used on the bridge of the nose and the jaw line.
Lastly the blusher. Now this is what attracted me mostly to the palette as it looks really similar to Sleek Rose Gold and NARS Orgasm. I owned NARS orgasm but was quite disappointed with it and ended up selling it as it just wasn't pigmented and was far too glittery. This however has the perfect balance of pigment and shimmer. It is super pigmented and you need only a little on your blusher brush to get a lovely glow but it blends really easily and doesn't look shimmery at all. It has gold undertones to the blusher which means it glows on the apples of the cheeks and is simply a beautiful colour. Like I said I like to use this on the apples of my cheeks and then sweep towards my ear.
So here is how I use the palette...
I am really impressed by this palette and definately recommend to those that want to try a good contour and highlighter then this is for you. Also those trying to buy Sleek's Rose Gold blusher should consider this as an alternative!
The palette is £10 which is a fantastic price for the 3 good quality products that you get in this. It also has a big mirror ideal for those who may like to travel! Overall the palette is well pigmented offering the right amount of shimmer in the highlighter and blusher.
Buy it here online at Sleek!
I can confirm that the blusher is in fact Rose Gold in both the fair and light palettes!
