Whilst in Superdrug I really could not resit the 3 for 2 offer on make up. I had been looking for a cranberry/red copper colour eyeshadow for ages and spotted that Fashionista did just a colour like what I had been looking for! This resulted in me buying a palette and 4 eyeshadows... opps?
I picked the colours Noble Purple, Sultry, Night Sky and a double take eyeshadow called Green Dragon. The palettes are sleek and do not look cheap in the slightest. The plus side to these palettes is you can create your own palette and also can swap and change your Fashionista eyeshadows or blushers with ease for travelling or storing. The palette is strong and has a MASSIVE mirror in it which makes it perfect for travelling. It also snaps shut so that you can safely travel with this palette without worrying about your eyeshadows falling out into the contents of your bag!
The eyeshadows are fairly big and are bigger than MAC eyeshadows. The three normal colours (Noble Purple, Sultry and Night Sky) are all very silky and well pigmented. Green Dragon however is a different formulation with gold veining and this makes it a little less pigmented but a little more glittery! All the colours are gorgeous! Staying power I can not comment on as I have only worn Sultry but this lasted a full night when I was shopping. I can also comment that Sultry blended effortlessly with other colours!
The single eyeshadows pop out of their packaging to be put into the palette and vice versa!
I think these are brilliant value for money and next time I will be looking for more unusual colours to add to my collection!
The palette was £5 and each individual eyeshadow was £4. If there wasn't an offer on it would have cost me £21 but I actually saved £8 althogether which was brilliant! I am unsure whether the offer is still on but I would definately recommend having a look at the Fashionista range!
Have you tried Fashionista?
